Police have arrested two men in connection with defilement of a 12-year-old orphan after they gave her a lift.
One suspect identified as Anthony Muganda had masqueraded as a Good Samaritan, offering the victim a ride after he found her at a bus stop.
The victim who was in school uniform was waiting to board a vehicle to school in morning hours. Muganda allegedly promised to take her to school only to take her to his home where he allegedly defiled her.
The accused then threatened after violating her ensuring her silence, he then dropped her back at the bus stop. Just when the minor thought she could begin to grasp what had happened, fate handed her yet another cruel twist.
The other suspect identified as Reginald Wamalwa also indecently assaulted the minor taking advantage of the situation after he found the minor victim in a confused situation, helpless and offered to help her only to also take her to his home and assault her.

Wamalwa had escorted the victim to police station, pretending to report the first child predator (Muganda), only for the girl to bravely disclose that he, too, had violated her.
He was immediately arrested on the spot and arraigned before the Shanzu Law Courts.
A manhunt for Muganda was launched. Fueled by the sheer horror of what had transpired, Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Protection Unit (AHTCPU) detectives pursued him tirelessly.
Through forensic leads, they trailed him to his hideout in Kisii town, where he was finally cornered and arrested.
Muganda was escorted back to Mombasa, where he was processed and arraigned before the Shanzu Law Courts on Monday.
