Parents have been advised to fulfil their parental responsibilities by providing proper guidance and counselling to their children and discouraging them from accessing pornographic films.

Speaking during a church service at the Seed of Faith Fellowship Church centre in Ruambwa, Bunyala Sub- County, Busia County, the Ministry Secretary General, Nashon Ayombe, expressed deep concern over the lives of numerous youths in the region and the nation, whose futures have been jeopardized by engaging in the consumption of pornographic content.

“There’s urgent need for parents to actively care for their children, especially as the Christmas festivities approach,” Ayombe stressed.

Furthermore, he urged parents to actively guide and counsel their children, cautioning against leaving them vulnerable to peer pressure that may lead to involvement in drugs and substance abuse.

He additionally underscored the importance of discouraging drug consumption, emphasizing the detrimental effects on both academic pursuits and overall health.
