Parents in Kilifi County have been urged to buy face masks for their school children to ensure their safety following the outbreak of Coronavirus in the country.
Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Malindi and Magarini branch Executive Secretary Fredrick Nguma said that parents should ensure their children wear face masks to protect them from being infected by Covid-19.
He observed some children are going to school without even wearing face masks, noting that the trend can easily contribute to the infection of the Covid-19.
The executive secretary asked parents to strictly comply with Health Ministry rules and regulations to ensure safety of their school children.
