Out of the 222 candidates who sat for the examination in ACK St. Luke’s Wote Township, 134 of them got Exceeding Expectations, with seven candidates tied for 71 points. The other 86 met Expectations, while only 2 of 222 candidates attained Approached Expectations.
Many of the candidates chose the STEM pathway. The top seven with a tie of 71 points were Chelsy Mukami Muisyo, Uruji Dullu, Winas Ndulu Muhoro, Victor Atambo Otwori, Prince Fortune Kioko, Brian Muthomi Muthuri and Patrick Abigael Mutheu.
Fourteen of them scored 70 points in EE, 44 scored 69, and 38 scored 67. Five of them had 66 points, while 10 scored 65 points. The other 4 scored 64 points. In learning areas, 1571 students exceeded expectations, while the school’s mean was 62.98 points.
Over time, the school head of the institution, Onesmus Wambua, has reminded parents that the school is not a briefcase one and that every child gets what they deserve.

“I am happy with the grades; we really worked for them. I want to tell my good parents that we tried our best and are very happy with what our candidates produced. We teach, mentor, guide and leave the paperwork to them,” HOI said.
He appreciated his teachers who volunteer themselves even when they are supposed to rest for the betterment of the learners. The school sponsored by ACK has strong religious beliefs, and the church leaders have really tried.
He thanked parents for their support and encouraged them to ensure that every child joins senior school to pursue their pathways.
He reminded them that even if any of their children did not perform as per their expectations, they should encourage the young ones but still take them to the next level, adding that with CBE, there is no waste if one is not good in this pathway; they are good in the other.
