The County Commissioner of Kirinyaga Tobiko Naiyoma has disclosed that over 20,000 students are set to sit for the KCPE, KPSEA 2023 national exams in the region.
Speaking during the opening of the examination container at Kerugoya Naiyoma Among noted that 12,500 will be the final cohort taking KCPE and 13,000 will be appearing for KPSEA.
Additionally, the Commissioner affirmed his commitment to closely monitoring the examinations to ensure a smooth execution.
“Regardless of circumstances, all registered students are mandated to take the exams, in line with government directives,” Naiyoma emphasized.
He also mentioned that the County encompasses four other examination centers: Mwea East, Mwea West, Gichugu, and Ndia.
Kirinyaga Central MP Gachoki Gitari urged invigilators to ensure a fair and cheat-free examination process.
