Parents and guardians showed up in large numbers in Narok County to celebrate their children who earned degrees, Diplomas, and certificates across all cadres.
Over 2000 graduands across postgraduate and bachelor’s. Diplomas and certificate programs were conferred under the theme, ‘Innovating to transform: Graduates shaping societies’.
Dr Vimal Shah, the Chancellor of Maasai Mara University, told the graduands to make a difference in society. They have a fantastic opportunity to serve the community with their skills. We are job creators, not job seekers, and we are all equal in our ability to make a difference in transforming society through mastery of AI.

‘The future belongs to those who blend it and shape it by getting all the strategies and execution at your hand, and innovation is not where you come from but how you think,” said Vimal.

The deputy governor, Tamalinye Koech (pictured above), who represented the governor, congratulated the 2025 class and encouraged them to serve as academic ambassadors for education and to apply what they have learned in their studies.
Koech assured the graduands that they should be positive change-makers, have a positive impact on young people, and serve as role models to others in society.
