Over 1200 vulnerable and needy primary school girls from North and West Sakwa wards in Bondo Sub County received donations of personal effects worth over Sh4 million from Dreams Programme.
The programme which is a partnership between American International Health Alliance (AIHA) and the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) donated shoes, uniforms, panties and sanitary towels to girls aged between 10 and 14 years from the two wards.
The programmes’ Assistant Administrator Samwel Waweru said they aim to provide education subsidies to most disadvantaged girls in the region to enable the focus on their education.
