Kwale County has a new KUPPET Executive Secretary after Leornard Oronje emerged the winner of a hotly contested election.
Oronje received 311 votes to beat the outgoing KUPPET boss Makenzi Tuki by 311 votes to 301.
Jacob Koronge Mazarimu was elected County Chairman during the recent branch elections.
Oronje thanked teachers for giving him a chance to serve and urged all stakeholders in the county to cooperate and improve education standards
