Nyanza Regional Commissioner, Zipporah Mworoa, has said announced that all is set for KCSE, KPSEA and KCPE in the region.

Addressing the media in her boardroom Mworoa said there would be some 4900 centers for both the KCPE and KPSEA examinations alongside an additional 1,767 centers for KCSE.

“Security is paramount, with two police officers assigned to each center, guaranteeing the safety and integrity of the examination process,” she noted.

Mworoa further highlighted the 55 collection centers across the entire region to secure the examination papers.

Furthermore, to mitigate potential challenges posed by flood-prone areas such as Nyando in Kisumu County, Migori, and Homa Bay, a proactive approach has been taken to ensure smooth conduct of the exams.

The Commissioner, in collaboration with Nyanza region education director Nelson Sifuna, also emphasized the security measures along the Kisumu-Kericho border to safeguard candidates.

Mworoa sternly warned against any malpractice, assuring that stringent legal action will be taken against those who attempt to compromise the examination’s integrity.
