The computers were donated by the people of Nyamira living in the United States of America led by Hesborn Simba.

In a speech read on his behalf by Mr.Ongeri during the handing over of the computers, Mr Simba thanked the Kenyan government for including ICT in its education curriculum placing its students at an advantage over their peers.

On their part, the management teams from both schools led by Zachariah Ogeto appreciated the rare gesture from the diaspora alumni.

They promised to maintain and service the donated computers to enable the learners sharpen their digital literacy.

“We appreciate this good work done by our children living abroad and promise to construct safe rooms for proper storage of these equipment.” commented Ogeto.
