Nyamira leaders visit schools to support KCPE and KPSEA candidates

Nyamira County Speaker Enock Okero.

The County Speaker of Nyamira Enock Okero, along with several Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) has visited local schools to encourage and support candidates ahead of their KCPE and KPSEA examinations.

Okero advised parents to ensure that their children are well-prepared by providing essential stationery such as geometrical sets, extra pens, and pencils to prevent last-minute panic and stress.

Abel Mose, the recently elected Majority Leader, emphasized the significance of providing students with nutritious meals to boost their morale and energy levels.

“A hungry stomach leads to irritability, which can adversely affect a student’s performance,” he remarked.

Nyambega Gisesa, representing Magombo Ward, appealed to the public, especially bodaboda riders, to maintain a quiet and conducive atmosphere around examination centers.

“This would allow candidates to concentrate fully on their exams, without unnecessary disturbances,” he said.

Additionally, he pledged to sponsor five best candidates from his ward with scholarships throughout their secondary education.

The leaders expressed their commitment to visiting all primary schools in the county to convey their well-wishes and provide essential geometrical sets to the students.

Notably, their recent visits included Nyomisia and Omosobwa schools, where these valuable supplies were distributed.
