The Machakos Patron of SHOFCO Dorothy Abok has announced that 50 students in the County will be given scholarships from the organization.

Abok urged the beneficiaries to seize this opportunity and change their destiny through education, reminding them that many children wish they could have the same chance.

She also encouraged parents in the region to grant second opportunity to their children who dropped out of schools due to various challenges.

Abok emphasized the importance of supporting young girls who became pregnant and boys who dropped out of school due to various reasons.

She further stressed the need to guide these children and provide them with a chance to redeem themselves through education.

“I understand that it can be tough and heart-wrenching, but as parents, we hold the responsibility of guiding these youngsters and affording them another opportunity to showcase their potential,” Abok stated.
