National Government Community Development Fund (NG-CDF) in Jomvu Constituency, Mombasa County has awarded full scholarships to 45 Form One students to pursue secondary school education in various parts of the country.

While launching the Jomvu Constituency Bursary Scheme, Jomvu Member of Parliament, Mohammed Badi, said that Bursaries help the bright, but needy secondary school students from poor backgrounds pursue education in the country.

He asked all education stakeholders in the constituency to work as a team to advance education levels in the area.

The Legislator however stated that he was impressed by the good results posted in for both KCPE and KCSE in the constituency.

Mr. Badi urged education stakeholders in the area to work as a team in order to achieve better results in the 2022 KCPE and KCSE national examinations in schools.

He added that there will be no single bright but needy secondary school student who will stay at home due to lack of school fees.

He urged parents in the constituency to apply for bursaries for their secondary school children to enable them to pursue their education.
