New curriculum good for nurturing talents

Machakos County KESSHA chairman Anthony Kitungi has urged education stakeholders to embrace new syllabus.

Speaking in his office at AIC Kwathanze Secondary where he is the principal, Kitungi said there is need to identify children’s talent early.

He said many learners waste a lot of their time in class struggling with what they can never be good at.

“With proper guidance I am very sure once one gets basic education they can pursue their talents if they are not good in academic,” he said.

“However much we embrace talent, we cannot forget to put more efforts in class since there are those who are excellent in class work, who should be encouraged to realize their dreams,” he added.
