Seventeen promising young footballers have earned life-changing opportunities after being selected by Nastic Football Academy during the just-concluded talent search at Sudi Stadium in Bungoma County.
The players, drawn from top football powerhouses including Teremi, St. Patrick’s, Vihiga, Kibabii, Bukembe, and St. Anthony Boys (Solidarity), impressed academy with their technical ability, discipline, and passion for the game.
Among those selected are Ali Ngao and Pascal Osiri from Teremi, Allan Nyongesa from St. Patrick’s, Timothy Wanjala from Vihiga, William Owino and Evan Owino from Kibabii, as well as Dennis Wanyonyi, Jackson Sikuku, Sammy Mwelema, and Mofat Buchuru from Bukembe.
St. Anthony Boys, one of Kenya’s most successful football schools, produced Allan Otieno, Lazaro Odhiambo, Philip Mjumbe, Gregory Agesa, Zinodine Wesonga, Nicanule Olanya, and Enoch Lemaiyan.
According to the organisers, the Nastic Talent Search Programme seeks to provide a structured pathway for students with exceptional football skills to transition into professional careers.

“We want to give young players a platform to be seen and supported by clubs, scouts, and technical experts,” said one of the coordinators.
The talent search was an opportunity to showcase discipline, teamwork, and ambition on a bigger stage.
The academy, based in Spain, already has several Kenyan players on its roster, including Aldrine Kibet, who currently with Celta Vigo, Amos Wanjala, and Alvin Kasavuli, all of whom rose to prominence through St. Anthony Boys High School and other school competitions before joining Nastic.
The latest group of recruits is expected to follow in their footsteps, representing the next wave of Kenya’s football talent destined for international exposure.
