Narok Governor Patrick Ntutu has launched the construction of a modern public school in Emuua Dikirr Constituency in Narok County.
Speaking during the groundbreaking ceremony for Angaset Comprehensive School in Ololmasani Ward, Emurua Dikirr Sub-County, Governor Ntutu said the initiative represents a transformative moment for the county and a bold step toward improving access to quality education for all children.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to accelerating the delivery of a landmark education infrastructure programme, as the county commenced construction of the modern public school under its partnership with the Human Practice Foundation (HPF).
In February last year, the county government entered into a strategic agreement with HPF to construct 160 fully equipped modern schools, with 20 schools earmarked for each of the eight sub-counties.
Ntutu noted that this ambitious project will not only bridge infrastructure gaps but also uplift learning standards across Narok, particularly in rural and historically underserved areas.
“Education remains one of the most powerful tools of empowerment. This partnership is a testament to our commitment to ensuring every child in Narok has the opportunity to learn in a dignified, safe and modern environment,” Governor Ntutu said.

According the reports the Angaset Comprehensive School will feature 12 spacious classrooms, a fully-equipped administration block and modern ablution facilities, with construction expected to be completed within seven and a half months.
Once operational, the school is expected to significantly ease congestion in neighbouring institutions and promote higher enrollment and retention of pupils.
The Governor praised the Human Practice Foundation for their continued collaboration, commending Head of Programmes Patricia Muigai and Board Member Daniel Ole Sopia for championing educational investment in the county.
“Partnerships like this reflect our shared vision of a brighter, more educated and prosperous Narok,” he added.
He was accompanied by Deputy Governor Tamalinye Koech, Kapsasian Ward MCA Jackson Arap Ngok, CECMs Josephine Ngeno (Public Service) and Johana Rotich (Environment), and Chief Officer David Kaborok.
Governor Ntutu reiterated that his administration remains focused on long-term development, stating that investment in education lays the foundation for economic growth, social stability and future leadership.
“Narok is building not just schools, but dreams, opportunities and a proud future for our children,” he said.
