Narok East MP Lemanken Aramat has urged young people to register for courses at the Maasai Mara Vocational Training College (MMTVC).

Aramat said the Institute offers skills which young people should take advantage of to better their livelihoods.

Speaking during the launch of a new dormitory at the institution — a project that cost KSh 100 million — Aramat emphasised the importance of technical skills in addressing youth unemployment.

“Young people will acquire practical skills for the jobs they have trained for if they enrol in technical institutions,” he said. “These skills will greatly enhance their chances of securing employment.”

Aramat assured the public that technical colleges across the country are well-equipped to offer high-quality professional training. He encouraged the youth, especially in Narok and neighbouring regions, to register in large numbers and make use of the courses offered.

“I want to assure our young people that the training provided in our technical colleges meets national standards,” he noted. “I urge them to come out in large numbers and enrol so they can benefit from these opportunities.”
