A teacher at Lelmokwo Secondary School in Chesumel sub-county, Nandi County has been interdicted for allegedly storming the principal’s office and consuming bananas and milk from the fridge.

In the interdiction letter seen by Education News and copied to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), the teacher is also accused of storming the school kitchen and forcing the cook to serve him chicken meant for visitors.

“You forcefully ejected Mr. Manasseh on March 13, 2023 at around 3:00 pm from the school Bursar’s office without any justifiable reason,” the letter read in part.

The letter directed the teacher to; make a defence statement/response to TSC in writing within 21 days from the date of the letter; indicate to the nearest TSC sub-county office where the teacher is required to report once in a month.

He is also to vacate office and continue to be away, forfeit the annual leave, provide contact address, email and telephone number and present any other evidence including documents in support of the case.
