Nakuru’s Director of Education assures readiness for KPSEA, KCPE, and KCSE

The Director of Education of Nakuru Victoria Mulili has announced that everything has been prepared as learners brace themselves for KPSEA, KCPE, and KCSE examinations.

Speaking during a press conference held at her office in Nakuru City, Mulili highlighted that the region has 1034 examination centers, comprising 398 private schools and 736 public schools for the Kenya Primary School Examination Assessment (KPSEA) with a total of 58, 893 candidates.

“Public schools have 48,500 candidates, with 23,919 girls and 24,581 boys while private schools will present 10,362 candidates, consisting of 5,080 girls and 5,292 boys,” she disclosed.

Additionally, Mulili said that there will be 31 male private candidates.

In KCPE category, the director noted that there are 1029 centres, comprising 716 public schools and 313 private schools with a total of 63, 232 candidates; 53, 421 from public schools and 9, 591 from private schools.

“We also 220 private candidates, of whom 112 are boys and 108 are girls,” she stated.

Mulili firthure highlighted that the County has 479 KCSE centres comprising 366 public schools and 113 private schools.

She said that Nakuru will present 45,282 candidates for the KCSE, with public schools fielding 39,049 candidates , private schools presenting 5,951 candidates , and 282 private candidates.

Additionally, The Director called upon parents to create a conducive environment for the candidates, providing them with the necessary examination materials.

She urged Center Managers to execute their responsibilities with professionalism and integrity.
