Nakuru County Director of Education (CDE) Victoria Mulili has congratulated all schools in the region which improved their mean scores in the 2023 KCSE exams.
“We want to thank all stakeholders who contributed to the improvement of education in our schools, even as we encourage those who realized lower means to pull up their socks,” she said.
“Parents are happy and motivated when their children score quality grades therefore I implore school heads to ensure they put measures in place to ensure their mean scores improve with each examination,” she added.
Her remarks come after several public schools posted sterling results led by Nakuru Girls High School which scored a mean of 8.5 followed by Nakuru Boys High School with 8.4, Molo Academy with 8.0, Utumishi Boys Academy with 7.9, while Mary Mount Girls attained a mean of 7.7.
They were followed by Bahati Girls with a mean of 7.6, Moi Forces Academy Lanet with 7.4, Naivasha Girls with 7.2, Enaiposha Girls with 6.9, Jomo Kenyatta Boys with 6.4 and their sister school with 6.3, while Njoro Boys and Njoro Girls attained a mean score of 6.2 and 6.0 respectively.
