Mwikalikha primary receives Sh1.8m from NG-CDF  for face-lift

Mwikalikha Primary School in Kisa North Ward, Khwisero Sub County has received Sh.1.8 million from the National government constituency development fund (NG-CDF) for renovation in order to create a conducive learning environment.

Over five classrooms at the institution are in a deplorable condition and require urgent renovation to make them habitable by learners.

This renovation is aimed at putting the school among the top institutions in the country.

The area Member of Parliament Hon. Christopher Aseka while presenting the money to the school on July 27, 2023 he was out to ensure the learners get their right to education which is protected by the Constitution of Kenya.

“As a feeder school to some of our secondary schools, we will offer Sh. 1.85 million for the renovations of five classrooms at the institution,” the MP said.

The MP engaged teachers, parents, and the community in the function that brought together education stakeholders at the constituency and ward levels.

He challenged the teachers and students to yield quality marks as he endeavors to support needy students in the next phase of their education.

“We are seeking to forge a common front towards better performance and, in particular, more statistics of students transiting to the University,” he said.
