The Bumula Constituency legislator, Jack Wamboka, has reiterated on his commitment to continue uplifting the education standards in his constituency.
Speaking at Bishop Atundo Boys High School in Kimaeti Ward, during the official launch of the third cohort of the Bumula Constituency Education Trust Fund to beneficiaries in conjunction with Wanami Wamboka Foundation, the MP noted that so far, the initiative has assisted about 500 bright students in secondary schools from needy backgrounds to accessing quality education through bursaries and scholarships.
According to Wamboka, the programme will go hand in hand with the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NG-CDF) in ensuring that no child stays at home due to lack of school fees.

He also noted that through NG-CDF Bishop Atundo Boys High School will get a new administration block at a tune of Ksh 22 million.
Also present was Yvonne Rich from Arizona state USA who donated a total of Ksh 500,000, noting that she and other partners is committed to see that needy students from vulnerable families have access to secondary education, especially girls.
On her part, Bungoma County KUPPET Treasurer, Rebecca Masibayi urged the beneficiaries to only focus on their studies by avoiding engagements in pre-mature relationships, noting that education is the only equalizer in life.
