Doctors across the country have been asked to return to work in order to assist the public in preventing some ailments that are likely to break out during the heavy April rain.
Speaking in his Bonchari Constituency area MP Dr Charles Onchoke said that it was unfortunate that medics are on strike when school children are at home for the April holiday.
“This is the time when some of our children have returned home to reunite with their families and need comfort that includes medical care but the health workers who are parents too have disappointed them.

He asked the Government and protesting medics to listen to each other and find a workable solution instead of exposing the common mwananchi who is a tax payer to unnecessary suffering.
The legislators appeal came yesterday shortly after Kenyatta National Hospital issued a precaution ally notice to the public on flu-like illness.
In the letter signed by Dr I. Iwani, Senior Director Clinical Services, the public is asked to avoid getting into contact with friends who might be having respiratory related ailments in order to avoid being infected.
