Bumula Constituency MP Wanami Wamboka has raised concerns over the leadership and management challenges facing Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
Speaking in a statement presented to the National Assembly on November 6, 2025, Wamboka warned that structural confusion arising from the implementation of the 2-6-6-3 and 2-9-3-3 education models has created uncertainty within the education sector.
He cautioned that the lack of clarity in policy and administration is fueling tension among teachers, threatening both the future of learners and the teaching profession.
The legislator cited widespread dissatisfaction among teachers, pointing to poor recognition, limited career progression, and lack of professional autonomy as key concerns undermining morale and performance.
