MP Pledges to construct TVET to reduce costs of travelling among students

Lurambi MP Bishop Titus Khamala has disclosed the financial year 2025 -26 plan for purchase of land for Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) construction.

Speaking at Unisons School of Hair Dressing during Graduation Ceremony MP Khamala announced that the ground breaking ceremony of the TVET will be presided over by President William Ruto.

Khamala has embarked on a programme of funds disbursement in Lurambi for the construction of TVET so that children don’t waste time travelling to Sigalagala and Shamberere, after the national government set aside Kshs.10 Million.

“Sometimes we waste time on MMUST and Bukura Agricultural Training College and our people hang in- between forcing them to join Sigalagala and Wanga Technical Institute.” He reaffirmed

The MP knew very well that CBC was taking shape, JSS will be domiciled in primary schools arguing those spreading propaganda over constructions to keep distance

“If I would not construct a storey tuition block at Mahiakalo primary school which hosts about 500 learners in JSS they could learn along the streets” MP Khamala reiterated.

The law maker also disclosed that he has also constructed another class at Mwiyala Primary and other places across the Constituency urging the government to allocate enough money for completion of the projects

“By the time the country proceeds to 2027 General Elections I would have actualized the dream so that residents of Lurambi access to TVET like others in various constituencies,” said the MP
