West Mugirango Member of Parliament (MP) Steve Mogaka has commissioned four classrooms at Enchoro Primary School.

He affirmed his commitment to ensuring the provision of quality education by improving infrastructure and funding the construction of others to foster a conducive learning environment for students.

Speaking while at the school, the MP revealed that the NG-CDF Committee had allocated more than Ksh10 million to renovate classrooms across the constituency.

“I intend to make our constituency an educational hub by utilizing the NG-CDF to build schools and support bright children from poor homes to access quality education,” he said.

He added that the Committee had already drawn an elaborate plan to construct modern ablution blocks in each school at Ksh1.4 million each to improve sanitation standards.

Mogaka urged parents to work in unison with teachers and schools’ Boards of Management (BoMs) for flawless development in the area schools.

He urged them to also ensure they provide their children with basic needs such as uniforms, pens and personal effects to make them comfortable as they continue with their studies.

He noted that teamwork is essential as it helps in the advancement of education standards and sterling results in national examinations.
