Khwisero MP Christopher Aseka has cautioned the area NG-CDF staff against any form of corruption while issuing education bursaries, saying no bursary forms will be “hawked” to parents.

He also said personal and political differences should not influence the issuance of the bursary forms and eventual disbursement of funds.

“Education bursaries are meant for all the children of Khwisero Constituency no matter how they voted in the last elections. I urge the NG-CDF staff to also desist from bringing family differences into the process,” he added.

Speaking in his Constituency, Aseka pointed out that bursary forms will henceforth be distributed to beneficiaries from their nearest polling stations.

“Our officers will be stationed in all the polling stations from where they will hand out the forms for filling before they receive them back for vetting and disbursement of fees,” he said.

The legislator said they will ensure that students whose forms were properly-filled benefit from January.

He stated that other needy cases will continue to be placed under scholarships courtesy of the Aseka Miradi Foundation.

“Our core objective is to transform lives of our people through education and other interventions without bothering who voted for who,” said Aseka.
