Moi Girls’ Vokoli invites stakeholders to forum on proposed transfer of infrastructure to Kaimosi Friends University

Moi Girls’ High School Vokoli has formally invited parents, community members, and education stakeholders to a consultative forum that will deliberate on the proposed transfer of the school’s infrastructure to Kaimosi Friends University.

In a notice dated March 6, 2026, signed by the Chief Principal, Hellen Mabese Luhangala, the institution’s Board of Management announced that the meeting will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, (today) beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the school compound, specifically at the grounds earmarked for the proposed university.

The school administration emphasized that the forum is designed to give stakeholders a platform to express their views, raise concerns, and offer suggestions regarding the handover plan. According to the notice, the objective is to ensure that community voices are heard before any final decision is made on the future of the institution’s facilities.

“The objective of this meeting is to gather views, concerns and suggestions from the community regarding the proposed transfer,” the communication reads in part. The administration underscored that the move carries significant implications not only for the school but also for the wider community, hence the need for broad-based input.

The upcoming meeting is expected to draw parents, local leaders, and education sector representatives who will seek clarity on the arrangement between Moi Girls’ Vokoli and Kaimosi Friends University. The discussions are anticipated to shed light on how the proposed transfer would affect the school’s operations, its students, and the surrounding community.
