The Ministry of Education (MoE) plans to hold an Annual Mentorship Week beginning in 2026, bringing together role models from various professions to inspire learners nationwide.
The initiative aims to strengthen national mentorship efforts and prepare Senior School students for life beyond academics through real-world exposure and character development.
The Ministry has anchored mentorship, emotional intelligence, and life skills as key pillars in preparing learners for life after Senior School.
The reforms aim to bridge academic achievement with personal development, ensuring that graduates enter adulthood with integrity, resilience, and a sense of purpose.
The Guidelines for Implementation of Senior School Education call for the institutionalisation of mentorship programmes that link learners with teachers, professionals, and community leaders.
