The Ministry of Education (MoE) will host the Eastern Africa Sub-Regional Forum on Artificial Intelligence (EARFAI) forum in Nairobi between the 24th and 26th June 2024.
Jointly with the Ministry of ICT and the Digital Economy, the forum is organized by the Government of Kenya (GoK) in collaboration with UNESCO, and it is aimed at examining the potential for AI to bring in new possibilities for sustainable development and societal change for Eastern Africa (EA) and the adjacent Indian Ocean islands.
EARFAI is intended to stimulate discourse on the Artificial Intelligence (AI) policy environment within the EA sub-region in order to support the development and use of universally agreed practices in AI globally.
Attendance and coverage of the event will be by registration and accreditation.
