Modern Mbagathi Girls High school premises opened

Joy and celebrations marked the commissioning of Mbagathi Girls High School in Kibra, Nairobi by area Member of Parliament and other leaders. The school has 12 classrooms, laboratories and offices.
Speaking during the handing over recently, the area MP Ken Okoth said they have built the hardware and now needs the residents to help develop the software.

“We have built the hardware we need the software, we need your support to mentor these girls, we need desks, computers and lab equipment,” Okoth said.
The MP, who has launched a drive dubbed “Elimu Kwanza” wants to fill the library with books in order to meet to the needs of the students.
The new two storey building accommodate three streams with staff offices, laboratories, computer lab, Principal’s office, Deputy Principal office, bursar’s office and a library named ‘Jeff Koinange’ for his support.
Present during the event was Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris who encouraged the locals to support the MP in realizing the dreams of the students.
