MMUST, anti-terrorism body in deal to stop violent extremism

Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) has entered into a partnership with Victims of Terrorism Organization Kenya to curb violent extremism through education and technology.
A five-year Memorandum of Understanding was signed at the institution by MMUST Vice Chancellor Prof Fredrick Otieno and VTOK Director James Ndeda.
The aim of the collaboration is to synergise efforts of stimulating partnerships, strengthening training, technical and development support initiatives.
“We are determined to fight terrorism not by weapons but by a powerful word of mouth and that is why we have this partnership,” said Ndeda
