Ministry of Education issues directive on 2022 Form One placement

By Amoto Ndiewo

The Ministry of Education has issued a circular on Form One placement, directing all secondary school head teachers to ensure that they have updated and uploaded school joining instructions.

The directive is intended to ensure that all secondary school letters of admission are up to date with the most recent fee structure, medical forms, personal items and any other useful information contained in the letters of admission.

Many schools have been able to update their fee structure in accordance with the fee structure guidelines provided by the Ministry of Education, but have not been able to update the same on their school joining instructions.

The current Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) candidates started sitting their national examinations today, 7Th March, 2022 and is expected to end on Wednesday 9Th March, 2022.

Following such development, their papers will be graded, after marking and results will be available shortly thereafter.

The Form One students are bound to join school as first term begins on 25th April 2022.
