Youth in Malindi town in Kilifi county have been told to collect their National Identity Cards and Huduma Number Cards from the Malindi Location ‘s Chief Office at Shella area where they are currently lying uncollected.

Speaking to Education News in his office in Malindi town recently, Barani sublocation Assistant Chief, Mr Armon Hare Kombe lamented that many youths in the area registered to get the cards, but they have refused to collect them from his office for apparent reason at all.

He said that it is an offence for youth above 18 years to stay without National Identity Cards in the country.

The administrator, however, warned that anybody  above 18 years found without an ID card would be arrested and charged.

The Administrator urged parents in the area to ensure that their children collected their cards from his office without fail.
