The Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Nzaui branch officials have all been reelected back to the office following the weekend poll.
Speaking to Education News over the phone, Nzaui branch Executive Secretary Joseph Ngwava Musyimi noted that the members were all elected unopposed.
Musyimi together with his team were reelected in an exercise held at AIC Sultan primary on Saturday, January 10.
As he resume the office, he called for deployment of Junior Secondary School (JSS) teachers requesting that those deployed from comprehensive schools should be paid promptly by Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

On delocalization, Musyimi called for complete stop of delocalising teachers adding that the victims should be transferred back to their respective schools.
He added that transfer of teachers should be done in consultation with KNUT and should not be punitive, further requesting the government to provide sessional paper number 10 of 2024 which guides on CBC management.
Musyimi thanked the Nzaui teachers adding that they saw trust in the office bearers and that they will serve them diligently with interest of the teachers becoming the first priority always.
