Make stakeholders proud by posting good results, MP tells schools

Matungulu Member of Parliament, Stephen Mule, has urged schools in the sub county to try their best in registering good results in a bid to ensure stakeholders’ efforts do not go to waste.

Speaking in Kyamulendu, Mule noted that schools are lagging despite having everything they need for their success.

He commended schools that did well in last year’s national exams and urged them to focus on making a step towards improving every year.

“I have given out bursaries, I have ensured good infrastructure and also had numerous meetings with stakeholders to improve the education standards in the sub county,” he said, adding: “I am glad schools like Mukengesya Secondary, a full-day school, is brushing shoulders in the top position with big schools, a school we began just the other day.  All I can say is that I want results and I won’t sit and relax while other schools which did well years ago are going down as years go by.”

The lawmakers urged the school administrations to reach out to him whenever there are issues to do with education.

Mule also disclosed various projects he plans on unveiling in several schools including Katwanyaa High School, Katine High School and Kyamulendu High School among others.
