Lugari Member of Parliament, (MP) Nabii Nabwera on Friday, May 30, hosted an academic breakfast at Immaculate Heart Secondary School, where he delivered a rousing call to action for students to remain steadfast in their pursuit of academic success.
Addressing a packed hall of students and teachers, the legislator underscored the importance of discipline, focus, and resilience in achieving scholastic goals. He urged learners to adopt a results-driven mindset and to support one another in order to uplift both individual and collective academic performance.
“Academic excellence is not achieved in isolation. It requires unity, determination, and shared responsibility. When we lift each other, we all rise,” Nabwera said.

In a show of goodwill and commitment to education, the MP pledged to cover 50 percent of the students’ remedial tuition costs. He also donated a ream of printing paper to every student, aiming to ease the burden of learning resources and enhance their study efforts.
Educators at the school lauded the initiative, describing it as both timely and impactful. The school’s leadership expressed optimism that the MP’s gesture would serve as a catalyst for improved academic results and heightened morale among learners.
This engagement forms part of Nabwera’s broader agenda to revamp education in Lugari constituency through strategic investment, motivational outreach, and direct student support.
