A little known public school known as Kerera Central Primary School in Kisii County has burst into the limelight after it produced the top pupil in Keumbu Division with 400 marks in the 2023 KCPE.
At the same time, most candidates garnered over 300 marks.
This was a sterling performance considering that it is a public school and has never reached such heights before.
The school had 28 candidates and it had a mean score of 290 marks.
