The Kenya Universities Staff Union (KUSU) has demanded immediate reinstatement of Spencer Sankale as the Chief Finance Officer at Maasai Mara University, just days after the institution fired him.
The union’s chairperson, Dr. Phillip Onyango, addressing the press on Monday said his dismissal was illegal and unfair and demanded that he be reinstated and the entire University Council disbanded.
“On the unfair dismissal of Spencer Sankale, we demand his reinstatement and that the University council be disbanded,” the Union said on Monday. “Sankale has not been given a fair hearing,” he stated.
