The Kenya Post-Primary Education Teachers Bomet branch Executive Secretary Paul Kimeto has called for calm, integrity and collective support as the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examinations begin.
In a message to educators and stakeholders, Kimeto congratulated teachers and learners who successfully concluded the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA), saying the transition to the KCSE phase demonstrates the resilience of the education system and the dedication of teachers on the frontline.
“As KCSE begins, I extend my heartfelt wishes to all candidates across Bomet and beyond. You have worked hard, and this is your moment to shine,” he said.
He also urged teachers, parents and the wider community to stand behind candidates by offering support amid this examination period.
“To our colleagues whose children are sitting for exams, we stand with you as you support them. May success be their portion.” He added

Kimeto praised centre managers, invigilators and supervisors for ensuring professionalism and consistency throughout the national assessment period.
He urged them to maintain vigilance to safeguard exam integrity.
“Our teachers and exam officers have once again demonstrated commitment and discipline,” he stated.
The unionist noted, “As you continue to administer exams, may the results reflect your dedication and honesty in guiding our learners.”
The union leader also encouraged teachers attending to personal and family matters, wishing them a peaceful and productive holiday season.
“This period offers a chance for rest and renewal for those handling family duties,” he said.
Reaffirming his leadership stance, Kimeto said KUPPET in Bomet remains committed to championing professional dignity, welfare and progressive education reforms that uplift both teachers and learners.
“As a union, we stand for purposeful and transformational leadership — leadership that works, not one that shouts,” Kimeto noted.
