The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced the release of the second placement results for the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) course applications.

Successful applicants have already been informed of their results through SMS notifications.

The KUCCPS portal was opened on September 12, 2023, for students who did not secure placement at KMTC during the initial round.

Those who had initially applied for KMTC courses through KUCCPS but were unsuccessful can also select an alternative course at no additional cost.

Eligible students are advised to visit the KUCCPS website for further details.

There are 30 programmes available for application across the 83 KMTC campuses nationwide.

KUCCPS Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Agnes Mercy Wahome revealed that the available Diploma and Certificate programmes encompass a wide range of healthcare disciplines including; community health nursing, mental health and psychiatry, midwifery, radiography and imaging, medical laboratory sciences, occupational therapy, optometry, pharmacy, physiotherapy and public health among others.

The application process is open to individuals who completed the KCSE examination between 2013 and 2022.
