The Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) has released the 2026 calendar of activities, choosing Tanzania to host the Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) finals.
Tanzania will be hosting the East and Central Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association Term II games set for 12th -23rd August for the first time after Kenya conducted the games last year in Kakamega, Western Kenya.
According to the KSSSA programme, the national competitions for the Term II games will be held in Kiambu between July 28 and August 2 while the regional events have been set between 6th-11th July in Narok county.
To avoid disputes that characterized the 2025 games, the association has also set conditions of participation including the students born on or after 2006 being eligible to be considered for the activities.
“These will also include students who did the KCPE not earlier than 2020”, read the programme that was prepared by the Trans Nzoia County Secondary Schools Sports Association secretary Peter Mulambula.
According to Mulambula who’s a teacher of St Columban’s Secondary School, the age eligibility which almost marred last year’s games in the county is contained the KSSS A Article 11 of the Constitution where the so-called “Mamluki” players were involved.
