The Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA), council chairman Stanley Kiptis, an experienced educationist and a seasoned trade unionist is leading Kenya in the 2025 at 2025 International e-Assessment Conference held in the United Kingdom, (UK).
The international e-Assessment conference brings together global education leaders, policy makers and technology experts to discuss and advance digital assessment methods. It serves as a platform for exchanging ideas on modern assessment strategies, ensuring educational systems keep pace with evolving technologies. Key themes include innovation, inclusion and integrity in assessment practices.
The conference includes expert panel discussion on key thematic areas such as the role of Artificial intelligence in the assessments, the importance of digital equity and ethical considerations surrounding data usage. Another major focus is the modernization of qualification frameworks, ensuring that the education credentials remain relevant in an evolving digital landscape.

Before his tenure at KNQA, Kiptis was the governor of Baringo County from 2017-2022, where he prioritized education and development initiatives.
His career in education spans years of involvement with Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT), where he served as Eldama Ravine Executive Secretary and a National Executive Council member.
