KNEC successfully concludes Day Two of KPSEA and KJSEA assessments nationwide

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has successfully concluded Day Two of the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) and the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) across the country without any hitch.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, KNEC Chief Executive Officer Dr David Njegere commended teachers, invigilators, centre managers, security officers, parents, and learners for their cooperation and discipline, which have ensured the smooth running of the ongoing assessments.

Dr. Njegere noted that the seamless administration of the assessments is a testament to the council’s strong coordination with education stakeholders and the government’s continued commitment to uphold credibility, integrity, and fairness in national examinations.

He expressed gratitude to all involved in ensuring that the exams began on schedule and were conducted in a conducive environment. “We sincerely thank everyone for their collective effort and commitment to maintaining the integrity of our national examinations,” said Dr Njegere.

The CEO further encouraged learners to remain focused and confident as they approach the remaining papers, assuring them that KNEC will not tol form of malpractice.

Meanwhile, education officials across various counties have reported calm conditions, with no incidents of irregularities or disruptions recorded so far.

KNEC has reiterated its commitment to ensuring that all assessments, including the KCSE 2025, are conducted in a credible, transparent, and secure manner, reflecting the council’s ongoing mission to nurture integrity within Kenya’s education system.

KNEC has also wished all candidates the very best in the remaining papers.
