The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has officially released the results for the March 2025 Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Business and Technical Examinations.
Heads of institutions have been directed to collect the results in person at New Mitihani House in Nairobi. KNEC emphasized that only principals or their authorized representatives are allowed to pick up the results. Importantly, institutions with outstanding examination fee arrears will not be allowed to access the results.
“Institutions with examination fee arrears are expected to clear before the collection of the results. Penalties will apply for those institutions that do not comply,” KNEC Chief Executive Officer David Njengere warned.

KNEC also set a 30-day deadline for raising any queries related to the results. All complaints must be submitted through the Query Management Information System portal by 22 August, 2025. After this date, each query will attract a fee of five thousand shillings.
The release of the results comes as KNEC continues to implement reforms in the technical and vocational education sector. Earlier this year, the council announced plans to phase out more than 70 outdated courses by November 2025. This is part of the shift towards competency based education and training.
The move is intended to improve the quality of skills training and ensure alignment with current labor market needs.
