KNEC invites applicants for training as test developers for CBC

annual conference
KNEC CEO David Njeng'ere. The council wants to expand its database of trained assessors for the CBC.

The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has invited interested professionals to train as developers of tests for the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) at all levels.

This is aimed at expanding the council’s database of contracted professionals, who may be called upon to take part in its activities from time to time as need arises, especially setting of assessments (as examinations are now going to be referred).

It wishes to train, certify and recruit teachers and teacher trainers to be engaged in the development of quality tests for effective Competency-Based Assessment (CBA) and teacher training.

The council therefore invites interested professionals to apply for training through its official website link: https://nac1.knec.ac.ke/examiners.

The details on the application can be accessed through the council’s website,www.knec.co.ke.

Those teachers and teacher trainers who are already trained by KNEC are advised not to apply.
