The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has declared that the results for the 2025 Teacher Education Assessment and Examination are now out.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 21, the council confirmed that outcome reports for multiple teacher training programmes have been uploaded and can now be viewed by authorised colleges through the CBATE online platform.
“We are pleased to announce that the examination/assessment results for the following programmes have been officially released and are now accessible to the colleges via the CBATE portal: DTE, PTE, ECDE, TCAE, SNE 1 & 2, DSTE, DPTE, and DECTE,” KNEC said.
The examination body advised all trainees who took part in these assessments to obtain their results from their respective colleges, which have been granted access through the council’s system.
KNEC also reminded institutions that access will only be granted to those who have cleared all financial obligations.
“Only colleges that have made full payment have received their results,” KNEC added.

This update comes shortly after the council released the results for the May/June 2025 Pearson Edexcel International Examinations.
In a notice issued on Thursday, August 28, KNEC informed private candidates who sat for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), International A Levels (IAL), and International Primary and Lower Secondary Curriculum (IPLSC) for Years 6 and 9 that their results were ready for collection in designated centres across major towns.
“The results for May/June 2025 examination series (IGCSE, IAL & IPSC (Year 6 & 9) are now available for collection. The results for this and previous series can be collected by respective candidates as follows,” read part of the notice.
According to KNEC, candidates in Nairobi can pick up their results from the Foreign Examinations Office at New Mitihani House. At the same time, those in Mombasa and Eldoret can collect theirs at the Uhuru na Kazi Building (4th Floor) and the Gulab Lochab Academy, respectively.
Earlier, on July 10, KNEC also made public the results of the March 2025 Business and Technical examinations. Institution heads who presented candidates were instructed to collect the results in person at the New Mitihani House in Nairobi.
The council cautioned that institutions with unpaid fees would not be allowed to access or collect results until they settle their arrears.
“Institutions with examination fee arrears are expected to clear them before collecting the results,” KNEC stated.
