KMTC to open Ksh. 45 Million Satellite Campus in Ugunja

Kenya medical training college (KMTC) to open a satellite Campus in Ugunja, Siaya County with students expected to begin learning anytime this week

The Siaya Campus has already relocated some classes to the new facility. According to the Board Chairperson Prof. Philip Kaloki, the new facility, meets standards prescribed by the College.

“Beginning March, we will have the first intake of students. We want to commend the MP for a good job,” he said. The students very excited to study in such a posh facility.

The construction of the College is financed by Ugunja National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF) with the area MP Opiyo Wandayi banking on the College to fulfill the national government’s agenda of universal health coverage.

He said the project hopes to open up the region for investment, noting that already a section of community members are erecting accommodation facilities for the students.
