Speaking to Education News, Kulubi averred that a lot had been done and the institution, located in Khalaba ward, will be ready to enroll students for next year’s March intake.

Kulubi noted that a week ago, officials from KMTC Kakamega campus visited the campus and gave it a clean bill of health.

“This project is a game changer in Matungu and we gave it our all going by the input and interest it has generated so far,” he said. “We don’t want our students travelling elsewhere for medical training.
