KLB to meet new curriculum book demand, MD assures

By Correspondent

Kenya Literature Bureau (KLB) is committed to supporting the education reforms the government is undertaking by producing quality textbooks and other resources, the Managing Director Mr. Victor Lomaria has said.

Mr Lomaria said the publishing house will support the development of textbooks to meet the educational needs of teachers and learners under the Competence Based Curriculum (CBC).

He made the remarks when the Chief Administrative Secretary in the Ministry of education, Mr Hassan Noor Hassan paid a courtesy call on him in his office.

Mr Hassan underscored the role of books in schooling, saying publishers of educational books are helping shape the future in positive ways.

He thanked the management of KLB for running the firm so well that it did not depend on the exchequer for financial support.
